What’s this coupon you speak of?

I've been trying to justify trying it out for years. I love using 17# for jigs and heavier cover chatterbaits. Thanks!

I've had really bad luck with the lighter test fluorokote - anything under 10# has broken very easily. I hope you have better luck with it than I.

Add it to cart to see the price OR I’m now seeing that the site added code REEL100 from a click-thru link I got in an email. My bad for not seeing this earlier!

I think it’s the new model, honestly. They’re pretty responsive with the chat feature on the site. It’s worth asking them.

Joe's Sporting Goods out of Minneapolis has 20% a bunch of stuff. Grabbed a Daiwa Lexa WN for like $160.

Nah - I got the perch pattern for some of these Northern lakes. In stained water, I go with a big ol' spinnerbait with Indiana blades. I kind of regret not getting one, though.

Oh yeah - dark sleepers, magdrafts, senkos, some terminal tackle - they even have 10,000 lakes stuff so I got a couple packs of Yoto Worms to check em out (they look like GREAT chatterbait trailers). Thanks for the heads up!

Fantasy Fishing 2022 - Official Thread
Some say the schedule lines up better this year for Austin. Wouldn't be surprised if he does really well.

I wanted to pick Sethy and a few others but I'm trying to be unbiased this year. I'm from Minnesota but don't sleep on the Wisconsin boys!

I got that one too! I think I'll get 10 just in case I lose a few.

Tackle Warehouse Issues
Their competitors are having inventory issues, too. My favorite companies, like Omnia and KTP, are having sales but it doesn't matter because everything I'd want is sold out or excluded. The post above about KTP, for instance. Didn't stop me from buying some dark sleepers, though, lol

I got that rod from Sierra a month or so ago. It's working out well, especially for $109. I didn't post it because I bought the last one. Glad they got more!

Definitely got 100-packs of 5" curly tails and finesse worms for under $28 combined. Thanks for the heads up!

Just buy two ?

Under the product descriptions for these rods, it says "2nd" or "2nds". I think that's the very subtle way for Sierra to say it's B-stock. Very easy to miss this.

Targeting Bass While Walleye Trolling
No offense to walleye anglers, but trolling for walleye bores me to tears. Does anyone have any advice for targeting bass while drifting at 0.75 mph? We'll be in Northern Minnesota on a lake with Northern Pike, largies, and smallies. *We'll be in between 12-20 ft of water, likely. Thanks! Juice

Yak Decisions: Native Slayer Pro 12 vs Bonafide RS117
Yeah I'm 6' 1" and I almost max out the foot placement with my long legs on the bonafide. I'm glad you found one that works!

Yak Decisions: Native Slayer Pro 12 vs Bonafide RS117
Hey y'all! Ended up getting the RS117. Both kayaks tracked about the same. The Slayer had a lot of extras it came with (anchor trolleys, scupper plugs, keel wheel, paddle holder, sewn tool caddy), but the RS117 was more stable while standing. I figured I could slowly accumulate the extras. First day out on the water confirmed I made the right choice!

Yak Decisions: Native Slayer Pro 12 vs Bonafide RS117
I'd be getting the pro for $1100 (overstock on sale). So, an extra $400 for the XC is a bit much. It's a great boat though

Yak Decisions: Native Slayer Pro 12 vs Bonafide RS117
It sounds like you fish really similar settings to me. The Rise is starting to sound the strongest, but I'm not counting out that Slayer. I initially started out with three boats in mind - the third was an Old Town Topwater 120 and its hull design looked less-than-hydrodynamic. Thanks for the input! I'll be standing a ton in my yak, too

Yak Decisions: Native Slayer Pro 12 vs Bonafide RS117
I looked into NuCanoe Flints, too. They may be too bare bones for me. I wish my preferred kayak shop carried them so I could really give them a good once-over. I'm in Milwaukee and the nearest dealer is in Rockford, Illinois!

Yak Decisions: Native Slayer Pro 12 vs Bonafide RS117
You're totally right and it's gonna be the all-metal tracks and platforms for the foot pegs on the Bonafide. The pegs on the Native are really flimsy and not angled upward.
