My son and I hit the Potomac this morning only to find it muddy. We hit coves looking for clear water or grass. We found neither. So we set our sites on structure and it was the correct move. We fished a large debri edge with chatter baits with craw trailers, we fished them like jigs ,hopping slowly. It turned into a good day quickly, it produced one 5 lb and a limit of keepers.

I fish Fort Washington to Mallows bay on the lower. I also have a place on the upper Potomac in Wv.

New to Bass rss and very happy I found this. I have been fishing 40 some odd years , some harder than others. Have a Triton Tr21 and love Bass fishing. Snakehead is turning into my 2 passion.

I don’t belong to a club but I fish southern md and the Potomac a lot. Have room on my boat 50% of the time if you are interested in a trip we could meet up.
