  1. Where did you see the video showing how it's rigged? Thanks! Got a small lake near me that I wanna try his method on. Seems easy enough to rig up before you head out. Gotta check to see if I got any swivels ?
  2. I am up north of you, Stowe about 30 mins north of KOP off 422. I have only fished there twice with minimal success the first time...the 2nd trip however I got a very nice Largemouth. It's the one in my avatar. I attached the photo to see it better.
  3. I have a small Sporstman boat I got last year. I usually only take 4 due to space but lately been taking the 5th setup mostly for swimbaits.....
  4. I usually run with 4-5 rod setup. 2 spinning and 3 baitcasters.
  5. Hey I fish the same exact places as you do but I got a small plastic boat and have a bit more luck. Hopewell is a tough lake that is heavily pressured so if you aren't out there at the crack of dawn or near nightfall you usually don't have much luck. I usually go after work and get on the water around 5ish and dont have any luck until the sun starts to fade, then I start to catch them. Last week I got out there a bit earlier and blanked all day until the same time then I caught 3 in a row and another one a few cast later. Problem there is the lake is so small that as soon as the other boats see you catch a few they all rush over and ruin your spot. Very frustrating too say the least. Marsh Creek isn't as pressured but the d**n boaters and kayakers out for fun will ruin a fishing spot just about every few minutes. I have caught a few good sized bass there but need to fish it more. Don't bother fishing Scott's Run, that place is ruined and I heard they are basically letting it go for now until they can drain it and rebuild it. It is so shallow anymore and is full of nothing but Pickerel anymore.
  6. Hey all, 43 year old married father with two girls and a fishing addiction!!! Fished the bank for years until I got me a Sundolphin Sportsman last year. Now I go fishing much more and have spent way more money ?. Have been modifying my Sportsman since last year with a raised deck, storage, fish finder, pedestal seats, etc... Maybe I should have just bought a bigger boat. Always looking for a great deal on a 14'-16' jon boat with trailer but money is usually tight...buying too much tackle, lol.
