I saw a video yesterday of someone fishing a rig in their pool that looked like a school of soft plastic jerkbaits. It made me wonder if anyone else has tried this out and how you would go about rigging it. 

Alabama Rig

It wasn’t an Alabama rig because there was no wire frame. The lures were free to dart around however they wanted. 

I would think that they'd get all twisted up if just tied to fishing line.  Wouldn't there have to be something to provide separation?

Donkey rig or double fluke rig.  It works.

I kind of thought the same thing. I couldn’t see how it was rigged from the video so I was hoping someone else could shed some light on it. There was 5-6 flukes

Like J Francho said I have used a double fluke rig but even rig that can get tangled up. I couldn't imagine 5-6 flukes unless some are dummy rigs (no hooks).

I don't fish it for bass, but we use something like the OP is describing for other things. It's called a daisy chain, its just a bunch of hooks palomared or short dropper looped in a row, they can be from 6" to 12" (or so) apart, and you can optionally weigh either the first or last one.

I saw that video they show in small tub?. Look good but not practical, I don't even use double Fluke that often.

I saw this video last year. tried it around shallow weedbeds last summer. it does work and if you rig it like he shows, your baits don't get tangled. I had several violent strikes on this combo

I want to see it rigged up . Its called a clinch knot swarm rig , so how does using a clinch knot have anything to do with it ?

I was on an old MSN  forum and this guy kept posting photos of big bass he caught using the Banjo minnow . He had some weird custom rod with wood handles and obviously didnt know much about bass fishing . He was fishing on a rip rap bank of a large lake. If I remember correctly one of those bass was a nine lber .

They're doing it wrong.  There's no bass in that pool.  Try again....

What a time to be alive, somebody needs to rig up a little family of savage gear ducks.  Maybe a bat swarm?  A "Plague of Frogs" rig?  No wait, 10 Whopper Ploppers end to end, a 1300 size!!!  More is better right?

Stop the facebook vid at 1:21 where he tosses it onto the pool deck. It looks like they're basically tied into a daisy chain.

Yeah, a 9 lb bass .  He didn't know what he was doing.

Oh , he was brand new to fishing but slaying them with a Banjo minnow .   I'm not knocking him .
