    My wife had to have a Kuerig . So I buy the house brand cups at Sams. They are cheap and stronger than other brands. I can use the 12 0z setting and get a strong cup of coffee. I have to use the 10 oz setting on every other cup I tried.

    My moms 88 and only drives to the pharmacy and stores less than two miles away on residential streets. She handles it well. My dad , hes passed now, had to stop at 80. He went to park the car at the hospital parking lot and ended up in a town twenty miles away. I looked all over for him. He finally made it home . Never did park it in the parking lot.

    6'2" Irish, English and German. It was long reported that a great great grandmother was American Indian. Even heard stories about her . My DNA test reveals zero indian. LOL

    I fish three small lakes about 200 acres each. I can pretty much fish the entire thing in a day. There will be brush piles, laydowns, pads , algae... an occasional point, rip rap...I put the trolling motor down and just fish. Patterns usually emerge like what lure or lures they are hitting that day , how they are setting up on cover , inside or outside or both. Bass are bass, They fish like a large lake only a lot easier.

    I got a chuckle out of that too. I wouldnt attend the weigh in either. Too much pagentry. then Thirty dollars for parking. I did like Matt Robertson for the first time. I laughed out loud when Dave Mercer presented him with a little fur coat.

    I switched Livesay and Fothergill for Zaldain and Schmidt. Then I kept Butler who came in dead last. I'm not very good at this game.

    A big bass flurry in that last hour and a half.

    I had to Google a Hubs Chub Rattalur and its similar to a Dalton Special. I still have a Dalton Special in my top water box and use it occasionally.

    I watch a lot of the basstrakk on these tournaments and notice over and over that big bites come in clusters. When that window opens a person might miss out if hes running around the lake.

    I havent thrown a lot of red baits, when I do havent had a lot of luck. When the water is cold and muddy I use to catch a few on a black jig with orange trailer.

    Early to post spawn Floating minnow baits with and without tail spinners get a lot of use. Buzzbaits are my favorite to throw and wlll use them from the water temps in the 60's until winter. They get used a lot through wood. Spook type lures same as buzzbaits but they wear me out quickly. Chuggers get used in windy conditions. Frogs for vegetation and skipping under overhangs.

    Anybody watching the weigh-in? I cant get it. Bassmaster really needs to improve their coverage.

    A small blue cat flipped off my hook and inpaled a toe with a side fin . It was thrashing violently. That hurt. Then another time a catfish got me in the meaty part of the hand. I got sweaty and light headed . Had to lay in the bottom of the boat until I recovered.

    Me too but junk fishing usually leads to a pattern. I might satrt out the day junk fishing several lures but end the day with one rod.

    Inexpensive but no longer made. My favorite shallow running cranks are the old rogers Big Jim and the Rapala Crankin Raps.

    I've caught a few large bass in small lakes with those temps but its not consistent. I've had the best luck in the afternoon on steep, sunny banks using crankbaits . I liked the old Arbogast mudbug but Wiggle warts are famous for this type of fishing.

    I used a trout rod as my crappie rod for a long time, until it broke.

    I picked him both events. Might change to him for the classic.

    I'll take Summer sausage , cheese and crackers a lot. Other times a sandwhich of some sort.

    I always have a Texas rig handy. So i just grab it. Probably not the best follow up bait but i'm not dedicating one of my combos just with a follow up bait.

    Bank fishing , I carry the bare minimum. I carry one rod and reel , so I'll take lures that match the combo. Cant catch fish if you have lures that wont cast well with the equipment used. Maybe a top water, spinnerbait , jig heads,a few hooks weights and soft plastics is all i usually need. Those choices can change depending on the chracteristics of the water.

    The best advice I can give is learn to roll cast accurately and silently. I caught a lot more fish when I got serious about casting .
