I always like to pre-fish and know more about the lakes I will be fishing. However with this year's semiprofessional trail going down the tank, I am thinking about preparing for tournaments months in advance. Myself, coming from a Virginia background, have no experience fishing down south. If anyone can shine some light on my problem it would be very appreciated.
A friend of the family is a fairly new angler. He has just recently gotten into fishing and now has discovered tournament events. By mistake, he has decided to fish Lake Moultrie. The mistake is that he is very un-familar with this particular body of water. Any fall tips would be appreciated.
I have recently payed the entrance fee to a tournament on the Black River. The problem here is that I have never fished it. I mainly registered in the tournament to expand my horizons. It is now late October and I really have no clue what to throw. Aspects on the lake include dark water, thick grass, and many cypress trees. If anyone has any tips please respond.
