Yeah, I understand that, it would suck to get a double whammy on it. I'm curious about your thoughts on this though... What if you were to rent a $7 lure for $2 for a week, and if you snag and lose it, you only owe $5. At worst case, you've only spent $7 to try a new lure and it's as if you bought the lure in store in the first place and then lost it.

Found some people who do it for fly fishing as well
