It should live. I've caught fish with hooks buried deep and they seemed fine.

Bass pro has a cd with quite a few fishing songs as well. My son loves them.

Thank you for that thread, I'm going to try it next time out. Was skunked last year, trying not to be this year. Thought maybe it was because I'm fishing from shore.
