  1. Is anyone in the south, specifically Florida using an Expride ? My home lakes are Kissimmee, Garcia, and Okeechobee. I’ve been tempted to upgrade to one for my workhorse t rig 10” and speed worm rod. I am throwing a Fitzgerald Stunner 7’2 Heavy currently and It gets the job done well. Would I go to the 7’3 Heavy? also considering upgrading my flipping rod to an Expride instead of this. I like to make sure it has enough backbone and strength to pull the big fish through and out of all the hydrilla we have.
  2. Two nice ones from a few weeks back! Got them both within 5 minutes of each other. Didn't have a scale unfortunately as the batteries died in it.
  3. Does anyone fish Florida with a shakey head over a Texas rig worm?
  4. I’d give the Shimano Poison Adrena a go. All accounts it’s an amazing rod
  5. May I ask what baits your using? We’ve thrown about everything at em in our trips and not caught nearly those numbers, about 20 a trip. Can’t seem to get them to hardly eat any soft plastics. Mainly been fishing down in the Eagan area.
  6. Ive fished it three times now. Maybe I am just horrible, but not getting nearly the numbers others are reporting. I also have only caught a handful of fish from senkos or swimming worms. Seems the fish are mainly eating chug bugs, chatter baits and rattle traps which isn't really my style. Anyone else been and have some tips?
  7. Yes you can, ive fished it three times in the last two weeks from a 22' Ranger Cayman
  8. I’ve honestly never lost a fish from line break at 30lb and like the castability. I know a lot of people use 50 for everything non flipping but I’ve never needed to I guess
  9. Been trying to force myself this summer to throw a lot of speed worms, 10” worms and other bigger worms. Been mainly throwing Gambler 7” Burner Worms, Bruiser Speed Spade 8.5”, and Bruiser Big Nasty 14”. Do y’all use a fluro leader or go straight braid ? My setup is a Fitzgerald 7’3 Heavy, Curado, 30lb Fins XS braid, 3/16oz tungsten, 4’ 20lb fluro leader and 4/0 Trokar Pro V worm hook. Fishing in the Eastern Central Florida area (Garcia, Kissimmee, Stick Marsh, Okeechobee, Poinsette.)
  10. Fitzgerald is my favorite, and favorites for many down south. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-FITZFRODS.html?from=basres
  11. I buy the Bass Mafia body bags and sort by bait type in their original bags
  12. Ride out west of town 5-6 miles and fish the banks and ditches around Lake Garcia.
  13. Happy with my Fitzgerald’s. Never hurts to support the little guy companies.
  14. Any tips, places to check out? Will be on a boat. Thanks guys !
  15. I could pretty easily fish only Gambler and be happy
  16. I’ve been using Fitzgerald braid and been happy
  17. 7’3 Stunner Heavy or the Okeechobee Rod
