  1. I recently inherited my late father’s Cayman, and am learning as much as I can, as fast as I can in terms of maintaining and his boat. Unsure when the bilge pump was replaced last, so looking into it. Can someone help me confirm if this is it? It is below the battery compartment. Also, any recommendations for the brand and model to replace with? Looks like a 700-1200 gallon is the right size. thank you! Also, any idea what this blue Sure Bail box is?
  2. thank you! This is where I saw them also actually. I’m going to pick some up on TW since they are on sale and give them a try
  3. yea I know they have a style called magnum. Check the link I posted, it’s a brand called Magnum baits that I’m curious about.
  4. I’m talking about the brand guys
  5. anyone try their senkos or mag senkos? Looking to find something to replace my Big Dawg Baits as I’m running low and they closed down. I love how dense theirs were and ton of confidence. I have also tried Gambler, Bitters, Reaction Innovation, Bruiser etc. just still like the Big Dawg the best. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/search-tackle.html?from=basres&start=0&count=20&searchtext=Magnum+baits
  6. Chug bug or frog at sunrise. Then speed worms, chatterbaits, then senko or flip. Then burgers and naps lol.
  7. Hey guys, trying to learn so bear with me. which decals from the manufacturer are required inside the boat? My Cayman has a max weight limit and a preferred seating decal. Can these be removed if they are coming loose? Are their any required to stay other than registration stickers?
  8. They make up about 70% of my rods. I have the: 7’ All Purpose (old original made in America rod) Frog Rod 7’3 Heavy x4- Senko rod, Swim worm rod, skinny dipper rod, and top water Okeechobee Rod 7’ Stunner Medium - bladed jig and blade
  9. New tires are on the way! Went back with Goodyear Endurance
  10. Hey guys. I am needing to replace the tires on my Ranger Cayman and was curious if yall had bought tires from Walmart or Amazon as they are the best price? I was going to do the install with my BIL who has been a mechanic for 25+ years and he said we can handle it at the shop he works at. Anything else we should do while swapping them out? Should I buy a brand new spare or just use the best of the old batch? Any other advice?
  11. Caught my new personal best yesterday! Was fishing Lake Kissimmee and flipping with a 3/4oz in some pads with a Jackall Archelon in black and blue. Fish measured at 24" long and 18" girth. I would guess she was around 9lbs and would have loved to see her a month or so ago during spawn but still very thankful. The better part was also that this lake had been kicking our butt and been really tough on us. Yesterday we caught more fish than our last three trips there combined so it was a great day.
  12. Anyone have any advice or pointers to give me on this lake? I fished it for a hard day and a half last Wednesday/Friday and we caught three fish total. This is now 8 trips in the last year for a total of 15 fish. We have been fishing Florida for years and catch steady fish across Okeechobee, Garcia, Headwaters and Toho. We really want to buy property near Kissimmee and fish it more but this is just frustrating as heck. We did a steady dose of flipping black blue senkos in the Kissimeee grass, flipping burner craws, throwing junebug and watermelon burner worms, and chatter baits. We fished in North Cove, and around Brahma recently but also fished Jacks Slough, the Pig Trail and on the west bank near the A frame red house. Any ideas from my broad strokes what the heck is going on, or is it just horrible luck?
  13. I use a uni knit for all non flipping hooks\baits and a double uni for braid to leader
  14. I’ve been catching them on Ploppers fishing them slow pulls as I lower the rod similar to devils horses
