Ranger Cayman bilge replacement

Featured Replies

I recently inherited my late father’s Cayman, and am learning as much as I can, as fast as I can in terms of maintaining and his boat. Unsure when the bilge pump was replaced last, so looking into it. Can someone help me confirm if this is it? It is below the battery compartment. Also, any recommendations for the brand and model to replace with? Looks like a 700-1200 gallon is the right size.
thank  you!

Also, any idea what this blue Sure Bail box is?

  • The bilge pump will be on the bottom at the lowest place in the rear of the boat.  May be red and white or yellow and black. The Sure Bail is a float switch for the pump.
  • Solution

As Alex from GA said,     Sure Bail should be the float switch for your bilge pump.  Follow the wires from your Sure Bail, they should take you to the bilge. :occasion14:
