  1. Berkley Ultra 8 for flipping

    Greetings all, Has anyone used Berkley Ultra 8 for flipping and pitching. I have part of a spool left after filling a reel I used for an inland waterway fishing jaunt in Georgia. It is 30lb and I have thought about giving it a shot on my flipping rod. Any opinions from the group? Thanks in advance for your input.

    I just today picked up a Falcon 6'8" MH/MF at Walmart for $25.00. It was labeled $44.00 but a bargain hunter page I visit said $25.00. I asked, the guy scanned, i bought. There is still quite a bit of ice on the lakes here so it will be a while before I can try it out.
