How far do you go?
I have 4 lakes (1000 acres+) to choose from within an hour of my front porch. My favorite lake is a 5-6 hour hop, skip, and a jump away. ?

Mid diving crankbaits
LOL Its not off the top of my head I actually do keep an inventory of all my gear so I know what to buy and not buy at the of the year. This list is literally just my mid diving cranks 10' or less. Not including lipless or square bills or flat sided cranks. I'm a tackle junky.. it's definitely a problem.

What is your favorite tactic for finicky spawning largemouth Bass
My order of operation when they won't react to anything else on the bed, White Yum Moneycraw Texas Rigged 3/8oz pegged sinker -> no dice Baby bass colored Weightless Senko -> no dice black weightless 6" Zoom Lizard -> no dice black weightless 4" Zoom Lizard -> no dice At this point I'll literally go through every soft plastic I have until I get something to work. But usually the lizards are spot on if nothing else works.

Kayak Bass Fishing!
I got a smokin' deal on a brand new 55lb powerdrive. 100 bones at cabelas.. not sure why they had it marked down so much. Must have been a mistake but I took full advantage of it. It took some time getting use to the foot control. I'm so use to my 101 fortrex cable driven motor. I almost can't stand using it for that one reason. But the plus was a small footprint mount and if I want to spend the coin i can set this motor up with spot lock down the road. I set this rig up with a quick detach bracket that I bolded to the bow with big ol' anchor bolts. I also setup the wiring with anderson quick disconnects. It literally takes a couple seconds to take the motor off the mount and 5-10 seconds to disconnect the power cord and foot control... maybe 15 seconds max all together.

Ok cool I'll start looking for one. Thanks a bunch!- Loomis Deep Crankin' Rods
Jelvas- I have been using the swimbait rods to cover my needs. They do get me by but I still would like a dedicated rod strictly for those bigger crankbaits. I was unsure if I would be getting a more moderate rod by going with the crankbait line-up. Otherwise I will just buy another swimbait rod to fill the bill. Ranger- it's good to hear that! I will chalk one up for the 969. When you bought this rod did you happen to compare it to the 968CBR or one of loomis's swimbait rods by chance?- Loomis Deep Crankin' Rods
Good afternoon y'all- I'm new to posting in bassresource. But I've always read through the forums and based my decisions off the results I've come across. I've been slowly stepping up my gear these past two years. I have a question on Loomis/Shimano's deep crankin' rods (IMX-Pro 968c CBR and IMX-Pro 969c CBR). I'm not normally so brand loyal but when it comes to rods and reels, I do believe that being loyal to a certain series of rods and even reels that it has it's benefits with the biggest one having a more consistent feel from one rod to another of the same series. My question is; Has anyone used one of these rods? I have literally found no review's and heard of no dock talk about these sticks. I'm in the market for a dedicated deep crankin' rod (10XD type stuff). But with having nothing to go off of, its hard for me to make the decision on whether these are the right rods for my needs. I have two dedicated swimbait rods (IMX 904c SWB & IMX 955c SWB) that seem somewhat similar when you go off of the nomenclature of the rod. Do the two Crankin' rods have the same feel and tip to the two listed swimbait rods or are they softer and more moderate down the blank? I definitely would normally go to a store to compare but I'm literally in the middle of no-where Nebraska and I have yet to find a store that carries a good enough supply of rods that fit my nitch. I welcome all comments but please be gentle. LOL Charlie - Kayak Bass Fishing!
