Took it apart, which was no easy task being that it was an Antares, and got it working again. Drag stack just needed to be cleaned and regreesed.

Ya I know and I always send in all my reels in the winter but the amazing fall bite is about to pick up. I refuse to do that right now.

It is slipping big time. It’s so bad it gets stuck completely then goes free

Something is wrong with my drag (and no it isn’t my line slipping). I have a shimano Antares, which is no beginner type reel. I have loved this reel so far and have never had a problem. I had it serviced almost a year ago, so I’m confused. Any advice on how I can fix it? I’m not going to take it apart again because I got in trouble with shimano the last time.

I feel you, none of my buddies, besides my gf, will fish with me unless alcohol and weed is a part of it. Same. I would be so ticked at myself if I lost a fish Bc I was intoxicated.

Need some advice on how to catch big smallies in Lake Erie. I’m shore bound so I mainly fish the mouth of the grand. What should I be doing to break my pb(4.56)?

It was caught in Lake Erie where there are no stripers. At least none that I have ever heard on in my lifetime of fishing Erie. A true mystery.

Anyone heard of striped bass in Lake Erie?

I think it’s a pure white bass??‍♂️If it is I’ll be very happy. State of Ohio considers that trophy level from Erie.

Caught this 1.52 pounder. Can anyone let me know if this is 100% a white bass. Probably is a 100% white because I don’t think there are stripers in Erie.

Picked up a fresh pack like that of 30lb and it was complete trash. If this is real power pro I’m really disappointed with them.
