Lake Okeechobee late march
I wanted to get a bigger boat but I’m not entirely sure how to drive one. Also won’t I need a boaters license?

Lake Okeechobee late march
I just looked at google maps and I don’t exactly understand what you mean @Mike L. When I’m heading out of the lock which way should I go to get to to bed?

Lake Okeechobee late march
Wow that’s great advice. Thanks so much. @Mike L is it possible to land a 8+ anywhere? And ya I’m kinda nervous about navigating thru the big O.

Lake Okeechobee late march
I got a guide last year and landed a 7 but that’s too expensive to do every day. Renting a boat is a much cheaper option.

Lake Okeechobee late march
Heading down to Florida and renting a boat on Lake Okeechobee. Will be there late March(specifically from the 21-29) and I am not quite sure what to expect. Renting from the Roland Martin boat rentals, so does anyone have any advice for me?

Broken guide on megabass rod
One of my guides just broke off my megabass destroyer and I need to fix this rod. Megabass is sending me a new guide(second from the top) and was hoping someone knew how to fix this correctly. Please let me know. I wish they would send me a new one but I don’t wanna send mine back because I have had so many good memories with it.

Am looking for a kayak(sit and stand on top) under $600. Anyone know of a good one?

Line for jig fishing
I am considering getting a new combo(shimano/loomis conquest7’6”h) paired with the new shimano Antares(when the left hand comes out) for bottom contact baits. I want to be able to throw jigs with it, but the new Antares doesn’t have a huge spool so I only feel comfortable spooling it up with 30lb braid(to leader). I feel like that should be fine, but I’ve heard different things. Just wanted some clarity

Tension knob loosening on shimano chronarch
I’ve had a few shimano chronarch mgl’s and I have found one pretty annoying problem with them. Every time I fight a larger size fish the spool tension loosens up completely. So obviously my next cast results in a pretty bad backlash. Does anyone have this same problem with shimanos without clicking tension knobs? I have a shimano Antares(that has a clicking tension knob) and this never happens.

Mono or Fluoro leader
I use mainly braid for a main line and fluoro as a leader(FC Sniper). However, the YouTube channel bassresource is making me think I should use mono as a leader. I recently lost a fish at the boat and broke off on a hook set at the bank. I think my FC sniper is pretty good, but would using mono be better? If so, what type of mono?

How to get rid of rust
I have been noticing more and more rust in my boxes. Does anyone have any good solutions? I’m considering the rustrictor boxes and the bullfrog antirust strips.

Best place to catch a monster
Ohio. By the way everyone, I decided on going to Florida. I am spending one day in Islamorada to fish for tarpon. Then, I am headed north to fish lake ida for peacock and CKF. After that I am spending the rest of the trip fishing the big O with a guide. By the way everyone, I decided on going to Florida. I am spending one day in Islamorada to fish for tarpon. Best place to catch a monster
I have decided I am going to go on vacation this summer and I don’t know where to go quite yet. The goal is to catch a new pb largemouth bass. My pb is only five pounds(not even 4.71). I can go anywhere within the United States, so does anyone know of any great places?

Bedding bass
Unfortunately I can’t do that bc she’s in the weeds pretty deep. Maybe a fluke would work. Might buy some lizards tomorrow too

Bedding bass
Craws, brush hog, Keitech, megabass dark sleeper, and senko... it will literally hit her in the head and she either wont react or she’ll slowly swim away.
