Sorry for the late report from this weekend but things got a little crazy on me this weekend. I fished from 25' to 1' and the best I could come up with was 2 keepers and 3 throw backs. All were caught on a chart rattle trap beating the bank (which I hate) but that was the only way I could get bit Saturday. Don't be scared of the muddy back waters, its warmer and there are fish there. I was fishing the trap with my flipping stick and putting it places a trap should not go but that's what it took for me. I heard a report that some guys were catching on a spinner bait but it didn't work for me. Followed up the trap with a wacky worm in some lovely looking spots but never got any takers. Needless to say it was a long freaking day.... FYI this was in the 6-mile/sandy/willow oak AO.

Never been to the back of housen but I will be in the back of sixmile this evening. Never been there either..... But it looks good!
