Do you normally launch at the orange Texas boat ramp on pier rd?

Oh ok thanks. Where is the nearest boat launch? I could probably use google maps to find it. Edit: It’s a long way from the river entrance to Lake Bienvenue and most likely shallow but could probably idle through if the water is up enough unless you have a mud motor. I don’t but I’ll try it in a couple weekends. I’ll let you know if I find it.

Ok. Is there a certain price point you’re trying to stay at? Or do you need it to be kastking brand specifically? Theres a falcon Bucoo sr 7’2 extra heavy on amazon for $109. My frog rod is actually extra heavy as well.

I have a 7’4 heavy action Falcon Cara Series frog rod. I love it! They also have a Bucoo series 7’4 heavy fast rod that’s alot cheaper than the Cara series. I have two Bucoo Rods, two lowriders, two Caras, three coastals, several originals and an expert, all different series of falcon rods and I love all of them. I’m sure those are available in Canada or will at least ship there. They are sold by amazon, bass pro shops, academy sports etc. I hope that helps since you can’t seem to get your hands on a kastking at the moment.

Yeah I know Lake Charles and all the surrounding lakes are brackish that’s why I was confused. Do you know if anybody’s has caught bass out of Lake Charles or further down in Prien lake? Thank you so much for the info about the tourist bureau, I really appreciate it! Can you still fish the pond behind it while it’s closed for renovation?

Oh yea that’s strange and unfortunate. It says it will when I go to it but I guess if it’s from a third-party seller and not shipping from Amazon then maybe they won’t. Have you tried Falcon Rods?

You can order them on US amazon site and have them ship to Canada. I tried to upload pics of the info that came in the box with the mega jaws but it said the file was too big. Is there anything specific you want to know?

Hello. I just recently moved to Lake Charles. What tourist center are y’all referring to? The lake Charles tourist center just has lake Charles behind it or at least that’s all I see on google maps. I googled lake bienvenue and nothing came up. I’ve been catching specs and a few reds but would love to catch some bass. Any help would be appreciated.
