Update I ended up buying a shimano citica and a 13 fishing concept c

the issue i had was that the sensitivity and weight were not on par with the Powell or Daiwa but if I break my frog rod i will probably buy a fury

update I ended going with the powell endurance 765 and also bought a daiwa tatula spinning rod

the abu garcia alx is 130 on sportsman's outfitters

The Shimano citica is $100 at Academy

I have a lews custom and it seems good so far but in comparison, my curado casts much farther and is much more refined

what issue did it have because have a Lews lfs speed spool that the gears grind

what do you mean by expanding options and what would those options be

what other reels did you fish with

how good is the tatula braking because I have a curado k and don't have to adjust the brakes very often if ever
