  1. I have a 7’6” Heavy Exage and love it for frogs and heavier jigs, but it gets a little heavy after fishing with it for awhile, I do not know about the MH models. I also recently bought the 7’5” SLX MH and love it for Texas rigs, chatterbaits, and spinner baits. It is definitely my most versatile rod. If you mainly fish lighter Texas rigs and lighter jigs, I would save for the Dobyns Fury 7’3” MH, it seems to be balanced better and have a little more sensitivity. Dobyns also has the lifetime warranty that cannot be beat. My friend broke my Dobyns fury on a boat flip, so it took it over to Academy and they replaced it without having the receipt or asking any questions. Hope this helps.
