  1. I was able to take out the boat the other day after installing the fish finder a few weeks ago. I am very happy with it. The picture was super clear and it worked better than I anticipated. Now I'm ready to go do some crappie fishing with it.
  2. Got the transducer mounting plate installed today. Letting the sealant set over night before I install the transducer.
  3. OK. That's what I ran into and wanted to make sure before I started pulling everything out trying to find one. Thanks
  4. Anyone who has changed their fishfinder, is there a fuse box in this boat? If so, where is it? Thanks in advance.
  5. Came down to Lowrance and Garmin for me. I compared the 2 for about a month, and it came down to money for me. If I bought the Garmin I would have ended up spending a lot more to upgrade to the Panoptix. I really like the Lowrance and the Active Imaging looks great, I have a buddy that has it on his boat and it is awesome, also I could read the Hook I took off pretty well and had good luck while using it. The FishReveal is also a neat feature that I look forward to playing with.
  6. So got the fish finder in, and after taking off the old transducer and unhooking electrical and everything I decided to go ahead and order a mounting plate. The transducer was supposed to fit in the same holes as the old one but the screws on the original were put in at an angle and I didn't like the look of it. So I am going to take a little extra time and wait on the plate to come in before I finish, I will probably go ahead and hook up the electrical so I'll have one less thing once the plate comes in.
  7. Just put in an order for a Lowrance Elite 9 ti2. Really excited to get it in and get it on the boat. Going to do the install myself since I have some extra time right now. Going to be my first addition to the boat
  8. Has anyone fished a tournament in their Heritage/Classic. I have a few small tournaments around me and I'm thinking of doing one in my Classic. Any advice or anything I may need to upgrade, I already turned a big cooler into a livewell.
  9. Picked up the boat today and ran it down to the lake with a buddy. Ran the engine for a little while and played with the trolling motor and fish finder. My buddy caught a couple bass while I was playing with everything like a kid. Can't wait to take it out again. Love this boat so far.
  10. Got the call today, I pick mine up on Tuesday. Even get to use it a few weeks before football starts up, I was afraid it would come in after and I wouldn't be able to get good use until next spring. So pumped right now!
  11. I was looking at getting both. It looks to me like a manual version of the Micro Power Pole.
  12. Has anyone used the Stick It Brake on their Heritage/Classic or a boat similar size? If so, did it work ok?
  13. I am waiting on my Classic to come in, should be around the end of June. I am thinking the only upgrades I am wanting to do is install a bigger gas tank and build an extension to the front deck, if anyone has a video of themselves doing that it would be awesome. I have been reading everything on here as well as watching all the videos of the Heritage and Classic I can find on youtube (Thanks Jaime and Mark). Just wanted to let y'all know that you guys are keeping me sane while I wait!! And keep the info flowing
