  1. For everybody out there with the black Max generation 3, how many brakes do you use as well as what is your spool tension?
  2. When dialing in your reel (specifically Shimano Slx) and I have 1 of 6 brakes on, can the lure go farther if I increase spool tension or will less spool tension always result in a further cast?
  3. When you reel your Shimano slx very fast do you hear a lot of noise coming from the reel? I'm curious whether it's just mine or if it's all of the Shimano Slx reels out there.
  4. So 1/8 ounce is out of the picture?
  5. When it comes to the ned rig do you have to have a mushroom jig head or can you use a round jig head as long as the eye where you tie the line is on top?
  6. So you just spray it on you spool when you're out fishing?
  7. What is line conditioner?
  8. I recently bought the 13 fishing omen black 2 casting rod in the 7'1 medium power fast action version which I will pair with the Shimano SLX casting reel. From your guy's experience, what line should I put on the reel if I am going to be using the rod for mostly moving baits but occasionally throw soft plastics like senkos, craws, and paddle tails? Would 12 lb Sun line Super FC Sniper be a good option?
  9. The Ugly Stik Elite that I own is a medium power fast action rod.
  10. Is the Ugly Stik Elite way more sensitive compared to the Ugly Stik Gx2?
  11. When it comes to bass fishing, what lures would you guys use on a 6'0 medium action ugly stik gx2?
  12. From your guy's experience do you think that the Shimano SLX casting reel is a durable reel that will last me 5+ years?
