Kistler frog rod
No all the blanks stay the same. I ordered one up and if anything almost feels too stiff. Think it should work out perfectly

Western Washington fishing
Lake Sawyer is an awesome lake. Great bass lakes out here, but shore access is very limited. Need a raft, kayak or boat to really do well unfortunately

Western Washington power fishing lm
Does anyone have success power fishing for largemouth in western Washington in lakes other than sammamish or Washington? I try cranking, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, swimjigs keitechs etc and all I catch seem to be dinks. Closest I come to success is night fishing a chatterbait. What is your go to power fishing technique for largemouth here?

Lowrance Elite Ti2- 7"
Are there different elite 7ti models? I have an elite 7ti model, and I am less than impressed with it. I fish from a kayak and find that the only modes I use are the traditional 2d and chart. The down image option is not as clear for me as the 2d, and I’ve been trying to get it dialed in with little success. Side imaging is good but I don’t use it that much for the lakes I fish. My cousin had the hook 2 reveal or something and his down imaging is incredible. Just my opinion on how it’s been for me. For 500 bucks I’d personally look elsewhere.

Kistler frog rod
Does the 4 power kistler have enough back bone to get fish out of pads and weeds with a frog? I’ve always been a heavy power fan for frog rods. I only have one kistler so far, a helium 7 foot 4 power casting rod that I use for skipping jigs and Texas rigs at docks. It’s my favorite rod right now and want to get some more

Kistler frog rod
I guess I would be interested in opinions of other on what action you like on a frog rod and why. I’ve always been a fast action fan, have not considered a moderate action for a frog rod before.

Kistler frog rod
I am looking at getting a new frog rod and after having picked up my first kistler a few months ago would like to give there’s a go. However, when I look at the blanks it seems their heavy power rods are all moderate action. Normally my frog rods are heavy power fast action. Does anyone use one of those heavy power moderate action rods for frogging? What’s your opinion?
