  2. When I watch the "pro's" fishing tournaments the majority of the guys use white, soft rods. What are the rods made of and why do all the guys use them?
  3. Would like to know what those soft white rods the pros are all using are made of? Jimmyjigs
  4. My brother always ties his wacky rigs with 4-6 inches of line hanging below the hook. He uses it un-weighted until he wants to fish deeper water then ads a split shot. Interestingly he will make a knot to hold the shot from sliding unless he is in rocky bottom areas. He always outfishes me.
  5. I have been using the smallest wire ties as flyfisher above. I find them at the dollar store. Place the connection above the hook so as not to catch weeds. I pull ties tight with a pliers. The wire tie method seems very good but,I like the price on the wire ties.

  7. It's just as JigMan says the person using it is the one who cares. I do powder paint mine because lead can lose it's sheen and collect some powder(A type of corrosion?) in the tackle bag. I have on more than one occasion wish I had a certain color but,not too often.Like when someone is catching fish and I'm not!Jimmyjigs
