Did their prices go up $10 or was it just the sites I visited?

I had planned on buying a Powell crankbait rod from *** but they were out. What company next would you guys suggest? Any help would be grateful. Powell 6'8" cranker MM.

I need a crankbait rod. I see that Powell dropped their prices . I need a mod/med rod. I never seen/held a powell before in person. All other rods I own are crucials(love the warranty).The 6'8" powell would fit me perfect since I fish from the bank. *** would ship for free for $139, and buying a crucial in store would be the same price with tax in N.C. Powell warranty????I will fish mainly < 10 feet of water.

Who makes the lightest 5:1 reel? Whats its wieght?Are there anything outthere under 8oz.

Could someone sway me to use floro line. I fish mostly stained water so clarity isnt a issue. Do I gain that much on feel. Ive tried Yo-Zuri Hybrid not the ultra soft. The price is one thing that keeps me for trying it.

How long does it take to rewrap a loose guide? I took my rod a local tackle shop to be repaired and this guy is taking forever.This is the last time I will use him anyway or buy tackle from him!!!!!He told me three different times to come to pick it up and its still not ready.Sorry I just had to vent.

I use 12lb hybrid now. I want to try the 15lb in ultra soft. I like the strength, but my dream line would be something with alittle less memory. I will use a baitcaster only. I know RW uses this line, just want to know how the 15lb would do on a baitcaster. Ive heard everyone speak of the 12lb, but not the 15lb in H.U.S. What would be the cons and pros of this move? Will I find the line that Im looking for?

Will the 6'10" MHXF crucial be good for large worms(10")? I would love to have a 6'10" fast but they dont make one in these.How about a 6'10" Falcon Cara?

A 7.3 on a strike king 3/8 S/B in white shad.It was in Dec. of 2005 on a private pond.

Anybody use p-line cxxx for worm fishing? What lb test? I love the 15lb for S/B. I was thinking maybe something in the 10lb range for worms. Never used floro or braid.Right now I use 14lb sensation green. It is ok but maybe there is something better. I cant afford to try different lines all the time.
