If could tell any company to make a bait(or any takle for that matter) just for you what would it be? Mine right off hand would be a bluegill pattern jointed shad rap. Gammy superline(springs) frog hook with a 1/16 keel weight. A shimano reel with Concept 13 reel knobs. Yours?

How many pros(bass,Flw) actually fish with high end rods and reels? In the last few years Ive seen some move from megabass to Abu rods,reels. Im no way knocking those that buy or use the high end stuff heck if I could afford it I would too. Love to own a Evergreen, Megabass or a few GLX. Mike Ike went from a steeze to Abu. Not knocking them but seemed like a downgrade to me. Gotta be the money! Thoughts?

The dt's are in bass pro already. I saw them yesterday. Some on TW as well. I see a few in my future.

Any one try the live colors in the Dt line yet? That live bluegill looks better than the old gill to me.

Any plans on seeing another reel at this price point? Chronarch had the spot so what gives? I know they still make the 50 size but what about a larger version?

Any one else paint their blades on a chatterbait type lure? I tend to do better on my waters when I paint them black.

C_Heath yes it is hot here!!! My ponds sound like yours,bathwater. My largest was about 4lbs and a few smaller ones yesterday. Cant remember N.C. being this hot so early in some time. Yet the fishing seems good for now but if this continues it has to affect this bass soon. Frog bite was on for me.

Love to fish with a 7' rod but I fish OLD ponds with a lot of trees from shore. Anyone fish with a sub 7' rod for frogs/toads? My cover is very light maybe some grass on the edge. A 6'8" to short with a MH/F?

What lure did you use but now sorta cooled off on? Mine is a spinnerbait. Bladed jigs have moved into its place the past few seasons. Cant remember the last fish I caught on one. Close second is a ribbon tailed worm.

Anyone fish the ones with the holes in the blades? Hows the action compared to the others?

Do they make an all black 6" senko?

First trip out today for the year, temps in the 70's. Seibert fogy(black and blue) stuck my first decent fish of this year 4LBS 12 OZ. Top of the line bladed jigs folks!! Try them!!

Can someone give a side by side comparison of these two? I own the old cork versions. Just wanted to hear some on the water comparisons.

So glad to see fishing on free network tv today. MLF was on CBS. So many sports has left main stream because a lack of exposure. I grew up looking at fishing every weekend and I looked forward to every show. Everyone doesnt have cable even in these days. You never know how many new anglers the sport could attract. A big shout out to CBS for the exposure.

Im looking for the most sensitive rod for tx rigs,senko and the like. Only thing is I want a 6'10" length mh fast. Where I live putting my hands of some makes is hard. If I could have A St. Croix Ltb in that length would be great. I fish ponds so thats why the length is so important. I have crucial rods now and I know they make this model but wanted to step up my game a little. Is it time for a custom?

The worse for me is new cold muddy water. What about yours?

I live in NC and its very few places to put my hands on rods to purchase. Bps Gander field n stream is about it. My question is do you buy a rod unseen? I would like put my hands on one before purchase. Dobyns kistler pinnicle etc rods are not to be found around here.

I'm I the only one not fond of extra fast tips? Just doesn't feel right to me. Fast just seems just right to me other than something for treble hooks.

I'm looking at these two. Chatterbait rod style 3/8 st Croix ltb 6'8" mhf. Senkos:tatula 6'10" mhf. Seven foot rods are too long for me and I'm not fond of extra fast actions. Budget for each rod is $260. Can I do better? Rods will be casting not spinning. All my rods are old cork crucials. Just want to upgrade.
