  2. I wont be doind a lot of saltwater fishing bug like herring, mackeral, small tuna - I will 90% of the time fishing large and smallmouth bass, carp, etc.
  3. i will use the rig for both fresh and saltwater, but mostly fresh
  4. Is a penn battle 2 3000 and a daiwa fuego 7ft pole a good combo? thank
  5. I have decided to getthe penn battle 2 and was thinking of using a daiwa fuego 7'1 rod with medium action. Is this a good idea?
  6. What rod do use pair the reel with? thanks
  7. Do you say the penn battle II is pretty strong and rust/corrosive resistant? by "light ocean", i meant pier and dock fishing. I would pair the Penn with a daiwa fuego FG711MFS rod or something thats good

  9. Hello, I'm getting back into fishing and need a new reel and rod. I am thinking of the Nasci by Shimano, but am not sure about which rod to pair it with. I have seen the Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier 2 Spinning Rod, is that one any good? I live down in Socal, and do mostly frshwater fishing, and some light ocean fishing. My budget is under 200 for all, and am hoping to spend no more than 60-100 on a rod. Thanks
