How good is the shimano curado mgl k? Does it work well with heavier baits?

So I have the shimano curado 71xg and I don’t know where it stands in versions. Like what is the next model? What is the difference between the curado 71xg, the curado mgl k, the curado 201xg k??

I am mainly going to be fishing ponds and small streams. I would like for it to be a two piece so I can break it down and put it in a tube. I wanted to buy the okuma sst UL 5 and half foot rod but it’s sold out everywhere. I can’t afford a really expensive rod.

The trout I fish for are not big. They are usually 12in at most. Have you used loonies before?

I’m using six pound co polymer This isn’t my first baitcaster. This is my second baitcaster. My first one is a lot easier to handle and to throw stuff.

I just got a carbon lite 2.0 ml rod and a shimano curado 71xg. I threw a a couple of jigs and squid assassin and every time I got a rats nest. I tuned the bait and tried different brake settings but still got rat nests. What do I do?

I want to know what’s the difference between the Shimano curado 71hg and the 71xg. Does one throw light lures farther than the other one ? What’s the gear ratios? Where is the cheapest to buy?

I’m trying to find a baitcaster reel that will throw a light rig pretty far. I would like to be able to throw jigs. What is a good reel for the money that will do that? I can not afford over 300 dollars.
