I’m looking to buy a new swimbait reel and I want to buy the tranx but it’s almost three hundred. So I looked at maybe buying the lews super duty 300 instead because it is only 200. Should I just save or go for the lews?

What type of line would you guys prefer? Like braid with a leader? Fluorocarbon? Mono? Copolymer? What pound line should I start out with? Thank you guys

Ok so I’ve always wanted to get into using cranbaits and jerkbaits, but i am confused on some stuff. Like, how do you know how deep is it running? How do you know it’s already rubbing at the right depth. These questions go along with the crank bait. But, on the Crankbait what depth sizes should I get? I mainly fish rivers and lakes.

How durable is the daiwa

I want to start getting into swimbait and glide bait fishing and will probably throw lures in the 1-5 ounce range. And maybe an A rig or two. I thought about getting the irod genesis 3 junior swim, Daiwa dx swimbait rod, and the dobyns fury 795 sb. Any suggestions? I don’t want to spend over 150.

I think I’m going to go with the shimano 300 tranx in the lower gear. Should I put braid or floro?

What brand of floro do you like?

I guess on the lower gear on the tranx 300 I still get like 30 inches per turn which is still quite a bit in my opinion

What is the best gear to use? Is slower better? Or can I get away with a faster reel?

So I’m wanting to throw medium to small swim baits and A rigs, and I think I’m going to get a rod rated for 1-4 ounces. I want to get a reel for it and I’m not sure what to get. I’m wanting to get a shimano reel cause I like them. Should I go get a tranx 300 or can I just get a 200 size reel. I’m not fishing saltwater. Mainly lakes and rivers. Suggestions?

Have any of you guys used this rod? I’m wanting to use it for A rigs and some swim baits and glide baits. How good is it? I’m open to other rod suggestions. The rod has be less than 170 and throw lures around 1-4 ounces

I don’t know if this forum has been done before and am sorry if it has. I’m looking to buy a reel for small swim baits, big jigs, and for punching. I’m trying to decide between the tranx 200 and the curado k. I don’t care that much about the 20 dollar difference. I’m not going to fish saltwater. Which will last longer? Which is better quality? What do you guys think?

I’m left handed when it comes to retrieve and the tranx 200 only comes in the 7.2:1 gear ratio. Is that too fast for small swim baits and A rigs?

What about the shimano curado 300 k?

I’m looking to buy a new reel. I was deciding between the curado dc, the tranx 200, and the chronarch mgl. I’m mainly going to use it for bass fishing. I’ll be throwing bigger baits and top water. Anything helps
