    Figured it out, i had the star ish shaped gear on backwards

    My reel was squeaking when i turned the handle so i disassembled it and cleaned it but now when i push the button and then turn the handle the button doesnt go back up. Ive tried disassembled and reassembling it again but still same issue. What should i do?

    A week or 2 ago i was fishing with my buddy and we pulled on our line to compare the amount of tip on our rods since i had an extra heavy and he had a heavy but after a few light pulls of my line a few inches of the tip snapped off. Anyone know why?
