Maryland Guys: Anyone fish the Monocacy in Frederick/Walkersville
It can get tough but its awesome fun when you get into a group of fish. Water level/Clarity changes a lot though. After a good rain, the water turns to chocolate milk.

Burke Lake VA!
Biggest one of the day. Sorry for the poor quality pic.

Burke Lake VA!
Theres nothing wrong here. I know the river like the back of my hand from Fletchers Boathouse to Smallwood. I've caught a couple hundred pounds of bass on the river already this summer, and as much as I love punchin' and flippin' and froggin', I'm ready to try something new. I was out today on Triadelphia Reservoir MD. Caught about 10 or so on a Carolina Rig and Drop Shot. The bite is slow and deep. 5 best went about 12lbs. Looking to try Fountainhead this week because the lake seems a lot like Triadelphia. I'll post pictures later.

New to DC...Where to go?
If you are looking for some good fishing in and around DC, I would fish the C&O Canal. I have caught a lot of good ones out of there. Down by Fletchers boat house usually works pretty good for me. Finesse Um. I would also throw 1/4 oz. Bladebaits but keep in mind that there is a lot of wood in there to get snagged on.
