Ya....I am sure they are both awesome brands..... that is one of the negatives i heard of the hobie is that you have to pull some kind of lever or something to go in reverse.

Ya, it does come with a fish finder but I know its a POS. It comes with the bass trackers which I have had in the past. Since I dont know Kayaks I had him send me a list of the upgrades he is saying it has so this should help. Ya, I have been looking and they are actually the same exact price and it looks like the sportsman is a little bit lighter but I am seeing different numbers depending on where I look. I really like the orange and black color on the sportsman also lol I am up in Washington state so I am going to call REI to see if they can order one. Otherwise I dont really know where to find them. I dont see anywhere up here that has these Kayaks in store

When you say consider weight....do you mean I should go heavier cause of my weight or go lighter? I just went and looked at this kayak. Its a 2020 Slayer 10 and he wants $2500 for it after his upgrades.

Hey all! I am thinking of selling my bass raider 10E and buying a first time Kayak. I am doing as much research as possible before jumping the gun like I always do....lol I am 6'2 250lbs and will be mainly lake fishing with a little non rough river fishing. I am looking towards a Top water 120 PDL so far. Anyone have any input on this? Thanks!!

I normally start off using a nightcrawler and try to get in and around the docks and then eventually i switch to pumpkin senkos......typically. I bounce between using a top water bait but only have caught one tiny one with it.

Maybe its a washington state thing or just my area lol.... A fishing hole is just a spot where you think there are fish at is all...nothing crazy

Sooooo, I am officially addicted to bass fishing! I have been going out on my Bass raider every weekend for awhile and I dont want to do anything but bass fish!!! I am still new but I think I am getting the hang of it.... One of my questions when I am on the water is.....lets say I get to a hole and I catch a bass. I automatically move on down the lake to a diff spot. Should I continue to fish that hole for more or is it pretty much one bass a hole? Also side question....if I catch a small bass in a hole...does that mean there are no big ones in there because there are smaller ones? lol Sorry if these are dumb questions! Thanks!

Lol no there is nothing wrong. I just want everything in front of me so i dont have to keep twisting and turning. Basically instead of the propeller facing away from the boat it would be facing the other way

Sorry if this is in the wrong area and sorry i dont really know how to word this. i just got a bass raider boat and this last weekend i was alone and was at the back of the boat with the motor. I enjoyed it more going forward in reverse instead of going forward in forward. Lol. Is there a way to get the motor to go forward like i am goin in reverse? Lol. i just want everything reversed i guess. Is that possible? So sorry. Lol

Is something like this a must have with a trolling motor and these little boats?
