  1. WRB, thanks Does "spawn" mean don't try to catch them so they bred? Not sure of the fishing etiquette. Thanks
  2. Greetings all. After getting feed back from some folks here and on other forums, decided to go to big bear lake a week to try my new obsession (FISHING, no surprise, right?).Thank you fellas for your input, useful for sure. so going to try shore fishing and allot of kayak fishing(that’s new too, ?). going to try the Bass of course, large and small, along with the other species of catfish and such. any advice on bait and techniques would be great. and here’s one you might not get> I guess it’s time to hone in the accuracy for peeing in a bottle while rocking side to side???cause I like my coffee in the morning? have a great day.
  3. Greetings all, first post here, so thank you all for your time and efforts to date, and any future blessings to come. I would categorize myself as a serious newbie fisherman. My fish before but basically ignorant of what I was doing. I watched Glenn on YouTube videos and that’s got me excited for bass fishing and the information available. i am staying at the Lake Elsinore Rv and resort with I believe is considered the western marina area. I’ll be shore fishing of course, but I also have paddling Kayak I wanted to float around and fish from too. I went To Walmart and loaded up on probably more stuff than I need but it was fun. I just hope I didn’t mess up NOT getting what I actually need to find fish in an upcoming four-day trip to Lake Elsinore California. If anyone has some advise from their experience on that specific lake, I would appreciate it very much. I’d write all the tackle I bought so far, but maybe best to just wait to see if anyone has any list of what to use for the area I’ll be at. I did go on their web site for description of lake fish, it’s labeled as wild carp, white and black crappie, largemouth bass, carp, bluegill, redear sunfish, Blue and channel catfish. In the mean time, I’ll try to look up these specific fish and what google or utube has to say they like. again, thank you for your time. alex.
