I picked up a used pelican bass raider 10e for free. I assume they did not want money for it because the foam on the inside is waterlogged. I am going to attempt to separate the two halves and remove the foam and plywood. I will replace the plywood but am unsure if I can get an exact replacement for the styrofoam. I can install a different type of closed cell foam. I am also assuming that the foam does not add any type of structural support internally. Has anyone attempted this with this boat? Any advice?
Newjewsie, On disassembling the pelican raider, what technique did you use to remove the staples without damaging the boat? I am about to try this same thing.
Thanks
