Thanks all for the input. Might try to find 6.xx daiwa elite for the 705cb and keep the winch for a deep diving rod. what rod recommendations for bigger cranks the 705cb can’t handle. Thanks again everyone, happy fishing!!

What reel speed would be optimal for this rod? I currently have a revo winch 5.4:1 and I’m starting to think it’s on the slow side for most lures the shines with. What gear ratio would fit this rod the best?

I do like the Dobyns but it is the only rod i have tried. Im just intrigued with how light and sensitive the Phenix feather felt. Will the XF action work compared to most other MHF rods?

Going to add another rod to the arsenal. pretty much just going to a setup for plastics, senkos, texas, creature maybe light jigs, soft swimbait light single hook baits. The Phenix feather would be there 6'9" or 7'1" MH XF. Would this be a good rod or should i just add a 4th dobyns the collection?

How is the Piscifun serpent pss741hc heavy fast, 14-50,1/2-1oz pitching rod? Anyone have this rod or hear anything about? Looking to get it for the above techniques. Debating if I should spend the extra $30 and get a dobyns for 735c... what do y’all think??

I just bought the Sr 734c and the tatula sv tw last week. It is my first casting rig. Plan is to use it most as an all purpose setup. Reason im leaning towards a crank setup right away the bass where biting around 17'-30' range. I want a decent setup hopefully $150-$175 cranking rig. Think the rods are decent i listed just haven't priced a reel yet.

I currently have a sr 734c with a tatula sv tw for an all purpose use. Im looking into buying another setup for specific techniques. Im leaning towards a crankbait rig. Is this a good area or would money be better spent elsewhere? I was thinking the CL 705c, Fr 705c or Lew's david fritts perfect crank 7' MH moderate 1/2-1 1/4. Havent decided on left retrieve reel yet but something in low 20" IPT?? Thanks for the help and advice

Im choosing between the sa 734c and sa 703c because there in stock locally and im going fishing saturday. With the current tackle I have (pictured some) 3/8 spinners/chatter, 1/4 bullet weights, 1/4 swimbait hooks. What series 734 or 703 would be better. Thanks for all the info
