Hello novice angler here. I'm sure this has been answered tons of times but..... Anyways I just purchased a heavy wooden glider for striper. It's 2oz. My question is what's a good setup casting combo or spinning for a heavy lure like this. I'm using it from the shore so I was thinking a longer rod would be best. Also I've been told 50-65 braid. I would use my current slx 151 combo but it's only rated for 1oz lures I think. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hey! I am trying to get into fishing as a more full time hobby. I live on the Ca Delta and minutes walk from the Sacramento river. I been looking at gear. I've bought a reel a 13 fishing concept z. Also I bought some yo zuri hybrid 12 lb. I was wondering what #braid I should use? I was planning on using the yo zuri as a leader. This will be my only rig for now. I'm fishing from banks and docks also if that matters. Also any suggestions for a rod to pair with the concept z would be great under $100. Mostly black bass, striper and small salmon. Thanks
