Looking to buy New line
Hey guys, looking to respool my baitcaster with some braid, i been using daiwa j-braid 30 LB in dark green, i noticed the line digs into it self not sure why. I mainly fish in rivers, the water is not clear. What will be a good priced braid to buy? i see that '' spider-wire stealth smooth 40LB is on sale for 10$ at my store '', also what's your thought on Invisi-braid by spiderwire? Please give me some recommendations before i go buy a line.

Been a week, not a single bite.
Cool thanks for the tip

Been a week, not a single bite.
live baits are illegal here, can only use worms, which is really light, i could not cast it on my bait caster. Do you recommend a T-rig? I never know what's a good soft plastic worm to use, size wise and type wise.

Been a week, not a single bite.
Hey guys, Lately fishing been so boring to me, but i never give up. I have a bait-casting setup (medium-heavy, 1/4-3/4 lure weight with 30 LB braid). I used crank baits, jig heads, flipping jigs, lipless crank baits and weighted hooks with a fluke and worms. This past week been so dry for me. Yesterday i said screw it and put on some live worms with a split shot to catch those small minnows so i can feel good about my self lol. What Rigs can i use so i can enhance my strikes/bites? I usually try one new rig every week, today is the day to try something new. Please give me some recommendations i really want to catch something or feel a bite atleast, yes i'm new to fishing and i love it. I fish in rivers, with weeds on bottom in most cases. I live in Montreal, Canada if that helps. I usually go after work to fish so around 5 pm until 9 pm

You can only use one fishing line type all your life...
Interesting, why would you choose fluoro over braid for baitcast?

Texas rig vs weighted hook
Hey guys, I have been using weighted hooks for weedless applications often. I was wondering if it's worth it to try a texas rig now with bullet weights? or is it the same concept? Also what's your recommendation for a hook size for a Texas rig and what bullet weight. I usually fish in river with a lot of weeds and some currents.

Buying my first Flipping jig
hello guys, just recently got into fishing using a bait-caster, so far i used flukes and crank-baits, now i want to try flipping jigs. I live next to a river that is not clear, so after doing a few research i chose to go with a black and blue flipping jig with the weed guard ( i have alot of weeds here), no idea what size to get yet, ( we do have currents, and my rod is (1/4- 3/4 oz) I also don't know what trailer or plastic bait to use with my flipping jig head, the info online i see is too much for a beginner like me, was wondering what can i get for starters? I don't want something huge, as i'm not after giants just looking to catch something when i go out haha. any help is appreciated! i live in Canada if that makes a difference. Also any recommendations for fishing in river that has a lot of bottom weeds is appreciated

How can i transfer my fishing line?
Mind giving me some names please? Last time i tried tying new line to my old spool, the knot was visible on my reel and it was making my line not cast to it's fully capabilities. Not sure what i did wrong :S

How can i transfer my fishing line?
My only concern would be the Knot making my reel struggle, or not sure if it can effect my casting distance since the knot would have to go through the guides, thoughts about this?
