    Hi all, Long time lurker, second time poster. My out-of-warranty Premier rod is getting close to its end. Repaired tip, guide rings popping out, lose reel seats. I called St. Croix regarding their gold star service plan. They said I can get a replacement for $70 to the same model or upgrade to Victory Rod for $120. Is it worth spending an extra $50 for Victory? It will be paired up with Vanford 3000 reel. Thank you!
