  1. If you guys could choose 1 state that was absolutely the best for wading or kayak fishing smallies, which would it be? Why?
  2. Does anyone buy off-brand in-line spinners from amazon? Some of the good brands are so expensive, 4-5$ each. But I am worried about them not spinning. Does anyone know of a off-brand that spins well? Thanks
  3. Hey guys, I've been out of the U.S. for 4 years, and DESPERATELY missing wading in smallmouth streams and creeks (with the occasional kayak trip). I have a route more or less planned out so far. Any advice for any of these rivers? Anything you would avoid or change or add on to? Thanks for the advice everyone! OHIO -Start at little Miami in Ohio -Clear Creek (tributary near Franklin) INDIANA (from cinci to bloomington) -white water river Richmond -blue river (too big for wading?) -Wildcat Creek, Lafayette -Sugar Creek, Crawfordsville BLOOMINGTON - Clear creek Kentucky (on way to NASHVILLE) -Drakes/trammel creeks NASHVILLE -Friend taking me around NASHVILLE to SMOKIES! -Cane Creek, cookedville -Obed River A fewdays in smokies, then to daniel boone national forest. Back to KY -Elk Creek, Lexington -licking river -various streams on route 1496 WEST VIRGINIA -elk river -grandview state park -Monongahela National Forest Heading back to Dayton, EASTERN OHIO Serpent mound/brush creek Athens – hocking river

  5. Hey guys, I absolutely LOVE smallmouth bass creek/stream fishing. Nothing beats it. I've been out of the country for FOUR years and finally returning. I will be traveling for about a month, mostly backpacking around national parks and fishing. Anyone mind pointing to some small steams/creeks that they know have smallies? I don't even need beasts, or anything special. Just some small, quiet creeks that I know you guys love just like I do. Two I have on my list so far from past experiences: clear creek in Indianapolis, and little miami river in cinci/dayton area. Any other suggestions? It literally can be anywhere in the country.
