  1. Just had to return a rod to Cabelas because the bottom guide was bent and the epoxy was cracked at the base. It was packed well, but too tightly so must've happened when they were putting the rod into the tube...
  2. I got the rod second hand.
  3. Thanks for the advice and warm welcomes, everyone. I think I'll try calling G Loomis and then decide what my best option is. I think the rod is from the 90s judging by the reel seat, but not entirely sure. I'm not particularly attached to the rod and fear new guides and rewrapping might cost more than the rod itself so I'm leaning on selling as is if I can find a buyer.

  5. Hi, this is my first post and just want to say hello. I've been a long time lurker and thought I'd finally make an account. Starting to get back into bass fishing after taking some time off from college / work. I'm from south Orange County and have been mostly fishing local lakes, but have been meaning to venture out to SD or LA. Just wanna also ask for a quick price check. I've had an older G Loomis GLX rod for awhile now. It's missing the 6th line guide from the top and some of the epoxy around the guides have slight cracks and probably need to be rewrapped. I'm still debating whether to buy some supplies from Mudhole and fix it up, or just sell as is. If anyone has a ballpark price for this rod, please let me know -- thanks!
