Hello All, I was curious if anyone had any "tricks" when spooling mono line on a reel? I've had some problems with twists and was wondering if maybe it was how I am spooling my line. I have both spinning and casting reels. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Hello All, This is my first post on this forum. I've been away from the fishing scene for many years now and am slowly getting back into it. I am in the process of going through my old line, tackle, etc. and have come across some unused spools of line. The line is approx. 10 years old. Is this line still good to use? Or does it become brittle with age? It's monofilament line, I believe Spiderwire and Stren brands. Thanks in advance, Steve
