Don’t know the water temp maybe low 50s. I don’t know what shallow flats are but yes there are shallow spots, once you get out there mostly deep lots of grass on the bottom some on the surface, lots of sticks sticking out of the water, lots of leaves in the shallow some brush, there is a tunnel leading to a bigger lake next to it, 2 foot visibility you can see a lot of bluegill super super shallow just sitting there really small minnow in 1 foot of water with leaves heard a Bass jump to go eat some, some baitfish in shallow I can’t identify, a guy caught a bass there on a buzzbait right before I got there, lots of trees around lost a lure yesterday, branches all in the water near that spot with the most branches a big thing of brush, biggest problem is all the branches I can easily get hung up.
