Best Place to Sell A Custom Boat
My father and I took a 18ft Lund Alaskan, stripped to bare hull and built back with very high quality materials, actually probably overkill. Anyway we are looking sell it mid build as a sort of custom "we finish it how you want" it sort of thing. I don't see any sales forums here, I only know of HT, anyone have any suggestions on the best place to advertise this? I really want to showcase the materials used and care put into electrical wiring and so on.

Reels Made in USA
What are the premium reels made in the USA? I'd like something nice and don't mind paying up but looks like most of the stuff is made overseas. Looking at spinning now, but is you know if casting feel free to suggest.

Swirls everywhere at Dusk
I'm no fishing veteran, what do you think this was? So I'm driving the boat back 2 days in a row at dusk after catching a few smallies when all around me, literally everywhere far and near I am seeing swirls probably 1 swirl/second. Some look to be small fish but others make small jump and must be sizable. BUT NO MATTER WHAT I TRY THEY WONT BITE LOL. I tried squarebill, topwater, senko, tube, swimbait, jig. I am guessing they are going for some bug and maybe fly fishing would work, but this is a guess, I also dont know if they are predominantly bait fish. Any guesses on what they are/what to try to catch? I am in New England/big lake if that helps. Thanks

Gluing swimbait to hook
IF you keep putting super glue on jig head or hook that will build up eventually right? So after a few applications your hook has a mound of glue there which you cant get off making the hook useless, no?

Uni knot for drop shot
Last time I tied it the hook was pointed up so I didnt pass the line through the eye at all, just tied a regular uni.

Uni knot for drop shot
Is there a better choice for a drop shot hook than a uni knot with a long tag? I usually tie a uni for other stuff and its easy for me but I can do a different one if thats better. Also, should my hook always be pointed up? I have seen drop shot hooks sold with small swivels on them, think the bass will mind the extra bulk/have any of you tried them and have feed back?

When do I want some line stretch, and when not?
Thanks, and I know you're a no stretch guy generally but when can you see some stretch making sense, even if not enough sense for you hehe.

When do I want some line stretch, and when not?
So if my lake has little cover and is more of a rock bottom, then I basically always want stretch? WHy would I not want stretch with topwater?

When do I want some line stretch, and when not?
Generally what techniques do you want some stretch in your line/leader and what techniques do you want less stretch and why? - if you could list like drop shot, wacky, crank, ect that would be super helpful, appreciate it. Also, is a 5 foot flouro leader gonna have much stretch or does it depend on the flouro, why have the most stretch?

Trolling motor: Should I buy?
As we all know so much is out of stock now, no idea on backorder times. I'm looking for an ultrex and found some seller with lots of good ebay reviews, but very few reviews outside of ebay, they seems to sell TONS of stuff yet the address looks like a house lol. They are not authorized but have what I am looking for in stock, what do you all think? Where do they get this stuff? Stay away or trust the many ebay reviews?

Gluing swimbait to hook
So you apply the glue to the grabber bump area that hold that bait right, before sliding it on?

Leaving fishing gear in hot boat
Even if rods were within a compartment? They are covered there but again the temp is super high in there, I was thinking rods probably on but line might form super memory or somethingm dunno

Snell better for wacky?
I know ppl tie a snell when they've got a weight on line because when the weight hits the hook it drives up into mouth, but without a weight does it matter at all meaning in the weightless wacky set up or when no weight is going to touch hook is a regular uni knot just as good as snell?

Leaving fishing gear in hot boat
Boat is docked exposed to hot sun all summer and naturally gets really hot. What gear should you not leave on board? It's most convenient to leave it all but I imagine rods w line (not sure if its bad for just the line or rods too), some soft plastics, I really dont know. Or maybe I am wrong on those, what else/what do you all think? Anything you can think of please name it!

Gluing swimbait to hook
How many of you do this, what glue do you use and when/where exactly do you put the glue on?

New here
Hi all, new to the forum and bass fishing too. A simple question, when you rig soft bait with hooks inside the bait, that means you want a heavier rod w less bend and maybe braid combined with a hard hook set so that combo of less stretch in gear and hard pull on rod, gets the hook out from swim bait and into fish, is that correct? Thanks!

Finesse/wacky
What size swivel and how far from hook? What do you think of a hook with a swivel in the eyelet. so one end of swivel you tie to, other end of swivel literally is made going through eyelet of hook, any good? like this

Finesse/wacky
What are the ways and which do you like best?

Finesse/wacky
First post, hi! Should I use a baitcaster or spinning reel for just casting a wacky worm and other finesse? I dont like the line twist with spinning so should I go with a baitcaster?
