Anybody here have experience with alternativelures.com? They sell incredibly well priced knockoff crankbait blanks. I was planning on buying their blanks to save the money, and then painting them myself with a simple rattlecan. The details of the paintjob don't matter to me, I just care about the overall color scheme and the action of the bait. Thoughts? Is this achievable with a rattlecan or do I need fancier equipment to paint these blanks? Is alternativelures.com a good site? Are their blanks comparable to the real thing?
