  1. I had the surgery also a few years ago. After 4 shots the doc had to go in. As soon as I woke up from the surgery I knew it was better!! Take your time and don't push the rehab or June will be farther then you think. Good Luck.
  2. 1/4 Strike Flip Bug w/ Gene Larew Salt craw 23/4 in 3/8-1/2 Booyah w/ Joe's Jig Trailers.
  3. This is a good question, as I'm thinking about moving over to braid. I don't mean to hijack but...........What Lb & brand of Floro leader do us guys use. Thanks
  4. It was around $35 for a pair of ABEC 7 bearings. While worth the money!! You won't regret doing it, I have put them in 3 more Curado's since my 1st one.
  5. I sent my Curado(2005 model) to a guy in Wichita, KS to be cleaned. He called and ask if I wanted to upgrade my bearings? I said sure!! , they are screaming fast now. I can cast 1/8 bitsy bugs on 20lb line about 35 yds with no backlash. Of course I BL it pretty good before I adjusted to the new speed of the spool, but I'm sure glad I did.
  6. I use Berkley 20lb mono right now on my jig rod, 7ft BPS Extreme w/ Shimano Curado 6.2:1. I have fished jigs for about 2 years now and I know I can get better at it. What are the advanage of braid over mono? Will I FEEL more with braid? Detect bites better? Besides breaking strength over mono what other advice.

  8. I have had this surgery, hurts don't it? I was so bad I could turn door knobs or eat with that arm. It was about 8 years ago. I fought it for about a year, 4 shots later I had the surgery. I had mine it the end of fishing season so it wasn't as long as a wait that you will be fighting!! 6 weeks sounds about right before I really started using it. MAKE SURE YOU REHAB the way your doc tells you how too. Don't push it or you will be right back under the knife. My recover was a lttle uncomfortable after the surgery but that is expected. As of right now I do still have a little flare up once in awhile but I just do the excerises the doc gave me and it goes away. I hope this helps, if not post your question. Good Luck, Buzz
