Glasses vs. Glasses
Thank you for all of the advice so far!

Glasses vs. Glasses
Which glasses work the best? Is there a difference between what you can see with a Walmart brand and what you can see with Maui Jim's or other glasses more expensive? What do you consider the best, and how far can you see with them underwater. Does the price really mean better quality?

Awesome Frog Lure
I don't care how good that thing looks in the body. It still needs a good set of legs on it. I wonder how it would act if it was thrown over a thick mass of weeds. Not to good I would think.
-
using a popper
I'm with Triton21, I never do the same retrieve pattern in a cast. I also let the lure sit a while before I move it. Not too long though or the bass will get a good look at it. I always hold my rod to the side.

topwaters
My personal favorite is a storm chug bug because it makes a lot of noise. Throw the topwaters early in the morning, or from dusk until midnight. I like frog patterns because I fish around lots of vegetation. In calmer conditions, I use a smaller bait with a retrieve that looks natural. If bait is breaking on the surface I will throw a prop bait or a chug bait. If not, then I will use a Spook or a buzzbait.

Bajno Minnow is it the real deal
The banjo minnow has definitely produced BIG time for me. But, I suppose it will work the same as a weight-less Slug-Go or Fluke. I have a lot of confidence in the Banjo Minnow though because it is always on a rod!

T-Rig
For T-rigged tubes, I just throw it out, and drag it back in using short little hops. I never do anything too drastic though. Some times I hop it but most of the time I switch off from drags to hops. For worms, it's almost the same thing.

Go-To
1. Banjo minnow 2. S-King bleeding tubes 3. Zoom pumpkin/chart. lizard c-rigged 4. t-rigged worm 5. Storm chug bug 6. S-King spinnerbait

Favorite Buzzbait
No brand type really, just one that has hooks set far away. My favorite colors are black, chartruese, and shad.
-
Snag proof frog original.
I am a big fan of the snagproof frog around lily pads, but my hook ups are about 25%. It really makes me angry.
-
Wacky wormin'
I am also a fan of the O'ring. It has a great hook up percentage. Don't let its look fool you.

Bass on the beds
Quotez: "a) they don't have intercourse fish aren't the same as humans. If you try to show them "the same respect" in reproduciton, why don't you do the same in general? If you go by your logic of treating them like you would a human, I would hope you wouldn't be trying to get them to bite a hook either... " Sounds like a lot of you guys don't fish the spawning period. you are doing a good job at making me feel like crap! Especially this guy!!!!!!

Bass on the beds
What are your guys' favorite things to throw when the fish are spawning on the beds?

Tru Tungsten Ike's ball busters jig head
Where can I get some of these jig heads. I've checked the local Gander, Wally World, Dicks, and Dorn. They are no where to be found.

must have bass lures??
BPS has a great selection of everything. They are a little more expensive than other sportsman's stores though. I go to BPS to get plastics like a certain brand of tubes or certain jig heads/hooks I can't find anywhere else. BPS is the place to go.

true kick tail lure review...
I bough this lure and wasted 6.97 on shipping. A TOTAL waste.

New Spinnerbait
Has anyone had any success with the new spinnerbaits out at Dicks made by Strike King? They have and extra long skirt in the middle and come with a trailor hook. I think they look good, but is bigger better?
-
Pre-spawn tools?
Cranks - medium to shallow and jerk baits - soft or hard
-
red hooks
I like red hooks myself. They give me a lot of confidence especially on clear lakes where the red is flashy. I think it looks like the bait/lure is injured. Great for minnow baits like jerks.

jig trailers on spinnerbaits???
I have not tried a trailor on a spinnerbait, but I have on a buzzbait. It seems to work real well if I put a little 2" shad body on my buzz's.

favorite jig/trailer combo
Jungle jigs work for me. Black/purple and craw w/matching trailors (custom made)

Shaky worms and jig heads
I am a newbie when it comes to the shaky worm, but I have recently purchased some zoom trick worms. What would be the best jig head to use for a shaky worm?
