  1. Hey Raul, what is the brand name of the swim baits you have lined up in the first picture?
  2. I heard smallies can be aggressive, but wow that is an amazing story. It's the senkos ;D
  3. I'd have to go with the rat'l traps too :'(
  4. Keep your rod tip low and have a little bit of slack when you jerk your rod. This allows the bait some space to dart sideways.
  5. Wacky rigs work best when you just let them fall. I only fish them a short distance from the boat where I have good feel. I have the best luck with WAVE TIki Sticks. They are a bit larger than GYCB and they catch heavier fish.
  6. I love the colors of watermelon and pumpkinseed. It seems that natural colors work best. I also like black and purple too. I always carry a bottle of chartruese SPIKE IT to dip the ends if I need to. Hope this helps.
  7. I would have to say lizards. I never hear anyone talking about lizards. THEY WORK GREAT
  8. How do you guys fish senkos with an o-ring. I'm brand new to this and a picture would be VERY helpful.
  9. pegging: I break the end of a toothpick off so it is just a little smaller than my bullet sinker. Then I shove the toothpick into the back side of the sinker. Then, I slide the sinker down until it is snug with the bait. If you can't move it, you might have too big of a piece. skipping: Use a spinning rod for skipping. I skip mostly un-weighted plastic lures. It works great for unders docks or fish that are chasing shad on top. I keep my rod tip low to the water and make a fast side are jerk. Practice helps A LOT. Weightless: I use weigtless when the fish are shallow or when I'm fishing heavy weeds, lily pads, or other structure that I want to fish over.
  10. Great advice. I practice all types of casts in my yard so when I am in a tight situation on the water I can place a cast with near perfect accuracy. I always think a small splash is the best unless you are searching for active fish.
  11. What is your favorite. I just started fishing senkos and I hardly know anything about them. Can you guys give me some tips?
  12. Frogs are great for lily pads and other grass on the surface when other baits can not be thrown on top. The best time to use them is when you walk along the shore and frogs jump into the water ;D
  13. I use a Lazer Sharp wide gap hook 3/0 and work the lure very quickly under the surface. If the bite is slow, I will let it sink into places I think a fish will be.

  15. Try a tube for punching through, but a fluke or lizard rigged weightless on top
  16. Nice shirt. I have the same one, and I like to use a 4 inch tube. It is my BEST lure.
  17. I use SnagProof Tournament frogs most of the time, but my personal favorite is the Scum Frog. It slides over matted veg. and lily pads really nice. Use a leopard frog pattern

  19. weightless fluke and senko....can't go wrong
  20. I get a lot of rips from the bluegills. I even see them following the lure underwater.
  21. I have never really fished a senko before. I couldn't help notice how many people said that if they could only have one lure, it would be a senko. I'm 15 years old and would like to know a few tips. 1. What is the best/your favorite way to rig them? 2. What is your favorite color? 3. How do you fish them? Thanks
  22. i haven't had that problem.....yet, but when I do the replactments will be RED and with Feathers.
