  1. dang, well thank you anyway i was able to get it a bit better
  2. Id love to do something like that when the budget allows but for now i put a lowrance reveal 7 on the front and am working with that, Any suggestions on tuning the motor guide trolling motor it seems like it takes alot pressure to steer and then gets caught up and almost over steers very hard to be smooth
  3. I appreciate it I'm thinking of putting a Lowrance reveal hook 7 on the front and thats all for now anything you did that you really like?
  4. I ended up buying it got them down on price and pick it up tommrow!!
  5. That’s what I was hoping I’d hear lol. thank you again for help!
  6. I have a full size truck towing isn’t a issue, I typically fish with another person and sometimes alone, I typically fish ponds, small lakes and rivers nothing huge I live in Maine so we don’t have many big bodies of water
  7. Do you think I should wait and get a bigger boat ifs my first boat?
  8. So I've found a 2017 crestliner 1600 for sale near me. The boat has a mercury 40 horse with only 41 hours on it. They want 16800 out the door with sales tax. I live in Maine so it seems like a decent price. Any feedback on the longevity of these boats cant find much online about them. Thank you guys again always help so much. and would this be better than a tracker classic xl
  9. Awsome thank you, I have seen positive reviews to but tons of people say all these aluminum boats crack and leak and I’m not sure if that’s partly just people having strong opinions towards glass boats or if it’s typically true, I’m young and don’t know a ton about boats
  10. I hear a ton of techs say Crestliner have transom issues is this true?
  11. I was just looking at the crest liner if you don’t mind me asking how much did you end up paying.
  12. The other this is whats the big difference between the classic xl and the pro 170 and is it worth the money
  13. ok cool, i was reading all the consumer reports and made me almost run in fear with everyone saying how awful their warrantee is and how horrible of issues they were having i saw 10+ instances on there of cracked welds and tracker not warrantying them and also any benefit of going with the pro 170 its more money for less motor and cant find a difference other than the bigger live well and rod box
  14. looking at buying a bass tracker classic xl from a local dealer. ill start by saying I know bass tracker is a entry level boat so I don't expect the world, After doing some research I was reading the consumer reports and they were awful, cracking welds, leaking boats, Tracker taking 5+ months to fix issues and this makes me very weary. I always thought these were decent boats made decently well that would last me a good while. Anyone has any experience with these new trackers are they really as bad as the consumer reports make them sound. and are there any other company's that maybe fall in around the 19k mark for a decent boat and trailer? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
