I fish out of aquia a lot also, I have found that buzzbaits, 4'' senko, and baby 1-minus fished right about the tops of grass work well. Good luck.

I have an 08 traiblazer, 6cyclinder, 4x4 and it does pretty well towing my 285 stratos.

I would agree that a 10 footer is to small to deck, I have learned this from experience. I even tried a 12 footer and it was way to unstable. I would recommend a floor.
