I have fished most of my life off an on but have seriously been fishing for the last 6 years. Caught my PB largemouth yesterday. 4 lbs. on the nose. What a blast on my light action crappie setup. I keep being told that the file is too large and can't post the photo. Any suggestions on how I can get it to fit?

I actually ice fish quite a bit but only went 3 times this winter. I also do a lot of crappie fishing. I'm gonna be going to a little secret spot of mine today after work and see if I can catch a few. Should be interesting to see if they have come in as I will be fishing from the shore.

Thank you sir. I do know the neko rig. Have never used it but know of it. It's just so weird. I caught my PB largemouth (3lbs 5oz) a few weeks ago fishing for crappie. I had a gulp minnow on a 1/32 oz jig with a rocket bobber. I have 3 baitcasters, Texas rig on one, swivel on another to change between topwater or swimbait, chatter, whatever and a bfs setup. None produce like my plain ol spinning reel.

Ok. I don't get out to Minnetonka to often. I should try some Ned rigging myself. I have the stuff but have never tried it. Not sure what a finesse t-rig is Gimruis.

Are there any dropshot users here in MN? If so, is it producing? I'm just curious. I've tried it a few times this year with no success.

Thanks for all the info guys. Went to spoon yesterday and could hardly find a spot from shore. So many people out there. I got skunked but saw several people pulling out some Crappie and sunnys. In my defense I didn't stay very long. Just wanted to make some casts and throw a couple of new lures I bought.

I have to totally agree here. I have the megatron and just ordered an Armor X. I absolutely love my megatron. it's smooth and performs flawlessly. I have it on a Kastking Resolute 6'6 medium/fast rod. I bought a Royale Legend GT($40) not to long ago as my first baitcaster ever. I don't know much about baitcasters but the GT seems fine to me a couple of months into use. I got the Armor X because I've just heard so many good things about it and I'd imagine it would be a step up or two performance wise from the GT.
