What line should I use for Chatterbaits/ what line do you use for Chatterbaits?
That’s because the lake is super clear

Mosnt of the lakes with largemouth near me are covered in aquatic vegitation, that’s why I’m considering keeping the braid to flouro leader.

That’s the exact same setup, except for my MH is on the gated side of fast

Also, if I was to use flouro, would line conditioner help? I have had bad line memory problems in the past, but this might change my mind about it

Usually I’m a braid to leader guy, but I just want to try something new. Very tempting. I’ve heard great things about tatsu I’ll have to pay closer attention to that when shopping!

Thanks! I also like the abrasion resistance of flourocarbon, will be useful with jigs in the mountain reservoirs near me.

I have a medium heavy setup I use for chatterbaits, small jigs, swim jigs, spinnerbaits and Texas rigs. To me this screams 15-20 lb flouro, and The reel is a 6.3 ratio which I know isn’t ideal but I have to work with what I got. What would you use?

Steez sv TW or Steez A to pair with megabass super destroyer
How would the p5 super destroyer do with chatterbaits 1/2 oz and under? If it will, I see no reason not to get this rod. I am short, so I find I have more control with rods under 7’3” and the super destroyer, from what I have found can (key word CAN) fish jigs, Texas rigs, Buzzbaits, larger spinnerbaits, wakebaits, oversized squarebills, large walking baits, and more…

Thank you! Also, not getting the reel today. I failed my drivers test which was the reason for buying. Smh

Steez sv TW or Steez A to pair with megabass super destroyer
I have heard the new zillion sv boost spool does great in the Steez sv TW

Steez sv TW or Steez A to pair with megabass super destroyer
Thank you! I’m going to get some replacement spools. I’m thinking an HLC spool to start

Steez sv TW or Steez A to pair with megabass super destroyer
I just want to have the option of light stuff, too. I only have the money for 1 high end combo for now. Maybe I will buy some bearings and spools or brass gears and a carbon drag to use it to its best potential

Steez sv TW or Steez A to pair with megabass super destroyer
I think I’m just going to go with the steez sv TW. The most tough things it would go through are jigs and small frogs

Steez sv TW or Steez A to pair with megabass super destroyer
Is it possible to put the sv spool in the steez A and get the same result as the sv TW?

Steez sv TW or Steez A to pair with megabass super destroyer
I can work with “it can fish them”! I don’t plan on using it for swimbaits and I don’t even like deep cranking. Thank you for the help!

Thanks for the help! I like the versatility of the sv tws. I have decided on it.

Steez sv TW or Steez A to pair with megabass super destroyer
Ok, I thought the magnesium would make it less sturdy. Guess I was being paranoid lol. Will the sv TW still cast big baits well, despite it being made for lighter ones? Thank you for the help.

Steez sv TW or Steez A to pair with megabass super destroyer
Hello all! I am getting one of the two reels above very soon and I have also been checking out rods to get after, and the megabass p5 destroyer line has really stuck out to me, especially the super destroyer. It’s a nice all around heavy rod for multiple uses. The other rod would be the Madbull but the super destroyer specifically. Which reel would YOU choose?

Daiwa Steez SV TW Replacement spools
Would this serve the same purpose? Long casts with heavy baits?

Daiwa Steez SV TW Replacement spools
In the near future I am getting the daiwa Steez sv TW and it’s my dream reel. The only problem is I want it to be more versatile. It is great for baits up to 1/2 oz (or so I’ve heard) but I might want to throw slightly heavier than that. The sv system was also designed for control, not necessarily distance I might need some distance sometimes. I think an HLC spool would be good for this? I have also heard that the sv boost spool is great on this reel.

What line would be good for these lures?
Lipless crankbaits it what I meant. I already picked out the line, thanks for the help though!

What line would be good for these lures?
Alright so I ended up going with 20 lb sufix 832 braid, I don’t regret a thing! I can throw about anything on this and even a 1/16th oz Texas rig with a zoom finesse worm a good distance. Got one at a really tough pond shortly after
